Company announced Capcom During the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, the company announced the launch of a massive new fighting game collection, as Capcom Fighting Collection 2 will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam in 2025.
The collection includes a collection of hardcore classics like Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 alongside fan favorites like Power Stone 2, with new features including online play and updates to improve the user experience across all eight games!
Also announced today is the release of MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, featuring memorable games such as X-MEN vs. STREET FIGHTER, MARVEL™ vs. CAPCOM 2: New Age of Heroes, and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, along with the beloved hidden character Norimaro (Japanese ROM version only).
The collection will be available digitally on Thursday, September 12 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam, and in physical form on Friday, November 22 on PlayStation 4. Pre-orders for digital versions for Nintendo Switch and Steam begin later today!
Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is a collection of fun fighting games and classics that come to modern platforms for the first time, and includes:
- Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
- Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER
- Project Justice
- Power Stone
- Power Stone 2
- Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
A list of new features that will be added to the suite includes:
- Take on your friends online: Online play is available across all eight titles, with rollback netcode technology to ensure a robust and stable online gaming experience!
- Train hard: Training mode is now available in all titles with many customization options.
- Expanded Language Support: 14 languages will be supported including English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, Russian, Polish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Arabic!
- As a museum of content: Explore art and music galleries featuring official art, concept art, design documents, and more never-before-seen content.
- Customize Your Experience: Tune specific features of your gaming experience via specialized EX settings for each game, various display filters, button customization, and more.
- Need a break? Mid-game saving feature is now added!
- Additional Updates: Various game balance adjustments and quality of life improvements across all eight games.
